Save image
Stop the scene at the image to be saved. Go to the 'File' menu and choose your save option:
- Save image
Save an image in the jpeg, bitmap, tiff or raw format. The exact image you are viewing in the window is saved.
- Save image for analysis
Images to be used for analysis can not be saved as jpeg, as this is a lossy compression. An extra is the
possibility to save the image as a new Dicom image.
When the source image was compressed with a lossy compression and no original quality image
can be found, you'll get a warning.
- Save as AVI
Save a scene as an AVI file. Either the full scene is saved or a selection, see 'Mark selection'. Creating AVI's may take some time; we do recommend that you wait for the process to finish. It is possible to stop AVI creation by pressing the stop-button, which will be displayed at the bottom of the window.
The AVI created is a copy of what you see on the screen. It's up to you to resize the window, turn overlay data on or off to create the AVI file you'd wish.
These files can be played with Windows Media Player and other media players. We use the Indeo Video 5.10 codec by default. The codec can be changed in the settings window. However, this is not recommended and may lead to the viewer crashing.
- Save selection
See 'Mark selection/cutting scenes'.
