Dicom scenes/multiframe files (f.e. angiograms)
- Store ALL image in memory
Default setting. Images are loaded and decoded from the Dicom files once and stored in memory.
- First pass
Load all images into memory as fast as possible. You have to wait for the full scene/image
to be loaded. This will be done as fast as your PC can.
- NO first pass
The image window will display the images at the frame speed recorded in the Dicom header. The
images are loaded and decoded on the fly. The display of the scene may not be as smooth in the
beginning.
- Do NOT store all image in memory
Only the current viewed image is stored in memory. Images are loaded on the fly and after being
displayed, removed from memory.
Use only when memory space is a problem.
- Maximum image windows
Set the maximum image windows opened. If set to 4, and 4 image windows are opened, the first
will be closed automatically when opening a 5th image window. It is advised to set this value not lower than 2. When set to 1, this could lead to problems using the 'previous' or 'next' option in the image window.
- Give warning when image windows are displayed behind the overview window
To be aware of possible hidden image windows, possibly using huge amounts of memory and/or processor time.
- Do NOT display warning when you do not have enough memory
Switch off the memory warning.
