Measure

With the measure tool you can measure distances within the image. The measure tool will display distance in pixels until the user has calibrated, using an object of known size. Zoom the image and maximize the window to be able to measure more accurately. Press 'Escape' to cancel your current measurement.

Measurements can be modified by moving the mouse pointer over either end of the measurement. Now the measurement will change color to red and a red square will be displayed. Drag this square to change the measurement.

You can delete a measurement by double clicking the red square. All measurements can be deleted at once by pressing the 'Delete all measurements' button in the toolbar. This will delete all angle measurements as well. Go to 'Tools' and 'Delete measurem.' in the menu, to delete the length measurements only.

To start a new measurement from either end of an old one, move the mouse pointer over the end of the old measurement. This old one will change to red and the square will appear, disabling you to start a new measurement. Now simple press 'Escape' to remove the box and red color to enable starting a new measurement from this position.

The measurement is linked to and displayed on the image it's created on. To display a measurement on all images, highlight it and press 'c' on your keyboard. This measurement will now be displayed on all images. Do the same to undo.

Measurements are not displayed when a scene is played.
