Building an overview

The toolbar in the overview window provides you with 3 different ways to create an overview of Dicom images and scenes:

• Searching a CD; up to 4 buttons to open a CD
• Open a dicomdir
• Scan any folder

Searching a CD


Up to 4 DVD/CD readers are automatically detected and for each a fast-view button is displayed in the toolbar of the overview window. You can link other DVD/CD's to the buttons in the viewer settings.
By pressing this button the viewer will:
1. Search for a dicomdir on the CD. The first found will be opened.
2. If no dicomdir is found the CD will be scanned. This means that every file on CD will be checked for a Dicom header and if possible, displayed.
Stop searching by pressing the stop button in the toolbar.


Opening a dicomdir


Choose a dicomdir of which the contents will be displayed.


Scan any folder


Select which folder and sub-folders should be searched for Dicom files. All Dicom images files found will be displayed. Stop searching by pressing the stop button in the toolbar.
